About The Diplomatic Pouch Search

The advanced search engine provided by Excite does concept-based matching, meaning that the search will try to come up with approximate matches for concepts. That's good if you don't know what you are looking for, but if you are looking for some specific keywords, the following syntax may be helpful to give narrower searches:

• Use a plus "+" sign at the beginning of a word to require that exact word in a search. Otherwise, the results will include approximate matches and not necessarily the word itself.
• Use a minus "-" sign at the beginning of a word to exclude that word from a search, eliminating matches you know you don't want.
• Use Boolean operators AND, OR, NOT, and AND NOT to do more precise searches.
• Parentheses can be used with the logical operators for more complex searches.
